Zamaless Development Foundation (ZDF) is a non-governmental organization founded and
registered in the city of Dodoma Tanzania on 05 th January 2022 under Non- Governmental
Organization Act, 2002. The idea was born out of passion of founding members to address eye-
marked current challenges facing local communities especially those in rural areas targeting to
support community development in Tanzania in integrated core areas of education, agriculture,
health, entrepreneurship, environment and economic empowerment which needed multi
stakeholder’s engagement for its development and prosperity, hence, the creation and inception of
this Foundation was of paramount importance. On the same year, the founder and Chairman of
Board of Directors of ZDF, Hon. Jumanne Sagini with his team arranged for a campaign to advocate
youth development through skills and talents development in sports and games whereby more than
120 youths participated in “Zamaless Football Champions League (ZFCL)” and Champion team was
awarded a gift of playing balls, uniforms, shoes, bags and other sports facilities. Youths became
ambassadors and inclusively engaged in planning and executions of youths-related
entrepreneurship skills development programs of which marginalized vulnerable young girls and
women have been given high priority.
